Rally the Valley is a wonderful way to help contribute to those battling cancer in the Glenwood Springs area. Team Frances Tieyah Collins, lead by Fran Collins, has a goal to raise $1600 our second year. Our first year we raised over $1500 and would love to beat that goal.
I, Fran Collins, was diagnosed with metastatic Breast Cancer (mBC) in 2017 and have been treated by Calaway Young Cancer Center for over a year now. Along with excellent treatments, the additional integrated therapies have been a huge benefit. I couldn't imagine going through treatments without having the additional services like massages, group therapies, and lessons to deal with stress. I truly believe it is a part of the recovery from cancer and the overall goal to beat cancer.
I also would like to add, if you have not actually walked and participated in the "Rally the Valley" festivities provides that day, get out and join us, you won't be disappointed. Not only are you helping out your cancer community, the hospital, it's patients and staff, but you'll have lots of laughs and fun with the amazing hospital group and everyone one else.
