Peyton is a local Glenwood Springs boy who underwent leukemia treatment from October 2010 to February 2014. The Peyton's Parade is named in his honor. For the past Rally the Valley's Peyton has walked with his team Peyton's Army and this year is grateful to walk with Tiare Slaver, a young local girl currently undergoing leukemia treatment. Please join them and their families in raising money for Calaway-Young Cancer Center, where both Peyton and Tiare have received some of their chemotherapy. They will also be walking the parade to raise awareness about childhood cancer research. Joining or donating to their team would mean a lot to both of them. Thank You!
On Saturday, September 24, 2016, our community will come together for the fifth annual Rally the Valley to support patients at the Calaway • Young Cancer Center at Valley View. We will participate in a 25-mile bike ride, a 4-mile walk through downtown Glenwood Springs along the river trail or a 1.5- mile family walk - Peyton's Parade. All participants will come together for the Rally Party in Sayre Park. The party will be a treat for all with fabulous food, a beer garden and a kid’s zone with bouncy houses and more! Interactive booths on cancer prevention and health will be both educational and inspirational.

The funds we raise will help patients receive the healing touch of massage, ease the symptoms of cancer treatment through acupuncture and find companionship and strength through counseling and support groups.
