Russo's Monday Motorcycle Night has been a proud supporter of Rally the Valley from it's inception. Unfortunately, we lost one of our "brothers", Dan Kerst, on Sept. 7th and one of our "sisters", Janet Blea, is battling breast cancer for the fourth time!!! This years' Rally the Valley really means something to us! This year we are riding in memory of Dan. We have 22 riders ($660) and we are hoping for more to sign up the day of the Rally. We are also accepting donations from anyone willing to support the cause. Donations will be accepted on our Rally the Valley page or at Russo's Pizza, 40 Market St., in the Glenwood Meadows.

On Saturday, September 24, 2016, our community will come together for the fifth annual Rally the Valley to support patients at the Calaway • Young Cancer Center at Valley View. We will participate in a 25-mile bike ride, a 4-mile walk through downtown Glenwood Springs along the river trail or a 1.5- mile family walk - Peyton's Parade. All participants will come together for the Rally Party in Sayre Park. The party will be a treat for all with fabulous food, a beer garden and a kid’s zone with bouncy houses and more! Interactive booths on cancer prevention and health will be both educational and inspirational.

The funds we raise will help patients receive the healing touch of massage, ease the symptoms of cancer treatment through acupuncture and find companionship and strength through counseling and support groups.
